Will Taylor ("us", "we", "our") takes personal privacy seriously. We limit the collection of personal information to cases where we truly need it or is required for the operation of our products. Personal information is never shared except to comply by the law, develop and improve our products, or protect our rights.
Nothing that you enter in IPA Scribe is viewable by us, period. All transcription processing is performed on your device and cannot be seen by anyone.
Information We CollectOur servers may store basic technical information, including but not limited to your IP address, in temporary memory or logs.
We use Apple's opt-in crash reporting service to improve the quality of IPA Scribe. Your device type, OS version, and time of the crash will be viewable by us. No personally identifiable information is uploaded during this process.
We use randomly generated identifiers to anonymously identify users. Your anonymous user identifier may be synced to your other devices via iCloud. Your anonymous ID is associated with data sent to RevenueCat and PostHog. While the ID can identify your device, we cannot trace or link it back to you without you providing the ID to us.
If you email us for support or other feedback, the emails and email addresses will be retained. The email addresses will only be used to reply to the concerns or suggestions raised and will never be used for any marketing purpose.
The transcriptions performed within the App are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to a server or shared with anyone, including us, without your explicit permission.
In addition to the anonymous analytics data provided by Apple, we may use Mixpanel, PostHog, Amplitude, and Firebase to store anonymous analytics data depending on your version of the app. No personally identifiable or health information is uploaded, and the data cannot be traced back to you without your permission. We use Apple as a payment provider for paid subscriptions. Apple's Privacy Policy can be found here.
We use RevenueCat to manage trial and subscriptions purchases of IPA Scribe Pro. To manage these transactions, we send RevenueCat your anonymous user ID and the details of which item you are purchasing. Since Apple processes the transactions, no credit card, health, or personally identifiable information is ever sent to RevenueCat. You may view RevenueCat's privacy policy here.
We use the information we collect to operate and improve the Website, the App, and customer support. We may disclose your information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property. In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets.
We comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We never collect or maintain information at the Website or through the App from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of the Website or the App is structured to attract anyone under 13. Additionally, we will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
